Very Snappy Looping ADSR Envelope
Radical Frequencies Looping ADSR is a very snappy envelope that generates control voltages.
As soon as the gate input receives sufficient voltage, the ADSR generates a variable voltage, changing in time. This varying voltage is output in positive and negative form, and can be used as a voltage control, modulating a VCF, or VCA, or any kind of CV input.
The shape of the envelope is governed by four parameters: Attack, Decay, Sustain and Release.
The envelope is triggered by a gate signal from the gate input socket.
The envelope has available a 2-position internal jumper to select fast or slow time ranges. By default the jumper is in the fast position. There are three pins on the PCB, for fast mode you have to jumper the two pins of the downside and for slow mode you need to jumper the two pins of the upper side.
The circuit of the module has a comparator in order to retrig the envelope (looping envelope) and make it a free-running LFO that can go from slow into very fast frequencies to audio range .
